Nursery Guidelines

  1. The Nursery is designed for children 4 years and under.
  2. Nursery workers will be adults, high school, and junior high students. (7th and 8th graders)  Sign In I Sign Out Sheet: The person who signs in the child should be the one to sign them out, unless it has been noted on the sheet that someone else will pick them up.
  3. Nursery workers need to keep children in the nursery until parents pick them up. Supervision of the children is necessary at all times.
  4. Children should only be taken out of the nursery to go to the restroom or get a drink at the water fountain.
  5. Please make sure the nursery is cleaned up and put garbage in a plastic bag and set it out in the hallway.
  6. Please check and change diapers as needed during Sunday School. A.M. and P.M. Worship Service.
  7. No snacks after 11: 15 unless parents have instructed differently.
  8. Nursery workers need to be in the nursery five-ten minutes before the service starts, Sunday School, etc.
  9. lf you can not work your scheduled time, please trade with someone and let the Children's Ministries Director know.
  10. lf you wish to have your name taken off the nursery schedule please let us know.
  11. Nursery workers should help children explore: (Examples: cook with kitchen, read a book with them, build with them, listen to music, sing songs with them, work on coloring at the table, etc.)
